Live a Dream

The Live a Dream program demonstrates our continued commitment to exceeding the expectations of our seniors and their families in everything we do. Live A Dream offers opportunities for seniors to enjoy activities that they used to do more often, but have since been unable to do so. This time, however, we make them extra special! Live A Dream not only grants these chances, such as skydiving, zip lining, or riding motorcycles, but we also grant priceless experiences that encourage us all to keep our dreams alive.

Featured Dream: A Trip Back Home

George’s trip to Colorado Springs was jam packed with a VIP tour of his childhood home, The Myron Stratton Home. This is a historical mansion that gold rush millionaire Winfield Scott Stratton donated to those in need. George has many fond memories growing up with many friends on this unique property. Today the home is an assisted living facility.

Types of Dreams

A life-long Dream the resident has not been able to accomplish yet that requires resources outside the campus to execute.  Bucket List Dreams also include group dreams.

The Foundation can provide financial assistance to Bucket List Dreams based on the following guidelines. All Trilogy Health Services Foundation Live A Dream grants will be applied to a qualifying charitable class and must show financial need. The Foundation can grant Bucket List Dreams that meet the requirements below.  The maximum award amount will be $5,000.

  • Residents whose resident payer source is Medicaid.
  • Private pay residents who have end-of-life diagnoses and/or physical/mental limitations that would require a caregiver to accompany the resident during dreams (i.e. usage of wheelchair, help with administering medications, etc.)
  • Private pay residents who do not have limitations or end-of-life diagnoses will then be means-tested to ensure they meet the charitable class definition.
  • The Foundation will grant a max of $5,000 per dream. If a resident’s dream exceeds the maximum amount, it will then be the responsibility of the resident or the resident’s family to pay the remaining cost.
  • The Foundation will grant one bucket list dream per campus in a calendar year.
  • All dreams are subject to approval or denial based on the Foundation’s mission and values.

This is a Dream that is approved and executed by campus staff.  Typically activities or memories that have not been accomplished before by a resident or have not been made possible for a resident in a long time.

Please reach out to your campus directly for more information about the Live a Dream program.
